A drive through nowhere

After meeting with the neighbors to fill out our ballots this morning (voting with friends and mimosas is fun), Matt and I drove out to take a look at a home I found online. While we’re not exactly planning to move, if we found the right house, we’d seriously consider it. This home is beautiful and checks most of the boxes we have. A heron was wading in the stream off the back deck when we first looked.

As we were leaving, Matt turned left out of the driveway so we could look further up the road, but instead of turning around, we just kept driving. Into nothing and nowhere, apparently.

Auto-generated description: A foggy road lined with tall trees on both sides leads into a misty forest, with a trailhead sign visible on the right. As you can tell (I’m posting this after all) we did, in fact, not drive off the end of the earth.
