One of my employees thanked me for the free therapy session today. If only I was qualified. Being a software engineer in 2026 is a wild mix of emotions. So is being an engineering manager.
Or so it seems?
None of my peers (who all happen to be men) have talked about any extra burden lately. Am I the only one feeling like this?
