Is my cat normal?
We believe Calcifer is a Norwegian Forest Cat. Sometimes he looks so regal. When he’s trying to clean the hair around his neck and the hairs are too long and/or his neck is too short so he just gets stuck with hair in his mouth… well, sometimes he looks rather silly. I find myself pulling the long hair out of his mouth every couple days. Is that normal? Does he have a genetic mutation that causes his mane to grow too long?
Also, look at these paws! That hair might be helpful in a Scandinavian winter, but when he’s trying to run around on the hardwood floors and sliding all over the place… again, pretty silly.
Silly or mutated or not, I think he’s happy. We’ll keep him.
