The amount of time I’m spending talking about dev metrics lately is frustrating. Tokens used, AI dollar spend, cycle time… I figured out this week that we’re not even consistently measuring these things within our little part of the company let alone across the org.
If I thought any of this gave them insight they could actually use maybe I’d be less annoyed.
